Reporting the same error as Greg Peterson, supra. I get the same crash report window (though it says “Machine Type: PowerBook 6,8″ on my G4 1.5GHz) without fail. Very rare to see an actual crash- once I dismiss the window the program runs fine (I don't wait to see if it works correctly without dismissing the report window).

Error or no error, this is still a vast improvement over the performance of VTPro. Looking forward to future releases.

I love appfresh, but I have two issues I want to address.

First, running 10.4.8 on my macbook, I cannot run the latest version of some apps that require 10.5 or later to run. I would like to have some type of discretion in future versions for the latest tiger and leopard versions instead of trying to download an app that won't work.

Second thing is that has there been a though about using other websites as well to check on updates besides iusethis? I know of versiontracker and macupdate for a couple, as I have a bunch of apps not on iusethis.

Thanks for the app and keep up the good work.

I'm finding that 0.5.5.1 just bounces in my Dock and won't ever open. Have to force quit. Have re-downloaded twice. Intel MBP w/10.5.2.

I don't get that. The new release did seem to fix my having to reboot after using AppFresh. (Although, my system crawls when AppFresh is running, I usually close everything, run AppFresh, then reboot. Pretty sad, but I liked AppFresh that much.)

But I still get some resource error everytime on exiting AppFresh. (and my system still crawls when running it)

Hey guys,

There's an error I've been getting in AppFresh for the last couple of versions. Whenever I launch the app, I get a window offering to send a crash report with the following info:

"Machine Type: MacBookPro1,2"

That's it. It comes up every time the app is loaded, but the odd thing is, I don't see any signs of a crash. Has anyone else reported a problem like this?
